Gabriela Mazowiecka is a photographer based in Warsaw and London. She graduated with an MA in Photography from the London College of Communication. Gabriela investigates sociological issues such as trust, through portraiture. She persuades people to throw themselves into contrived situations that may be amusing, unusual, uncomfortable, or chaotic. Once her subjects are committed, she relinquishes control, letting their autonomy drive the creation, revealing something about them, and something about herself.
